A real game - could have been written in the 80s, but genius took a while to arrive. A mix of alchemy and poker as you try to build a set of magical jokers and an enchanted deck of cards to score incredible points and beat each "ante". Fast, addictive, addictive, and full of challenges, variant decks, and new things to unlock. Something to be playing for years to come when you've an odd moment to mess around, or an entire evening to try and beat a challenge. Deal those cards, Balatro!

Amazingly easy to play, very hard to master. great game which I found on the Xbox Game pass and have sunk serious hours in and when I saw it here I had to support the creator. Game uses basic mechanics layered on top of each other with a diverse selection of cards that change, enhance and modify each game to be different. I have not played the same game twice on all my time on the Xbox version or on this perfect mobile port.

I downloaded Balatro on my phone and it was a mistake. Dont get me wrong it's an incredible game. The only problem is that it is incredibly addictive. I needed something for the journey home to keep me engaged but after playing it on the train I felt guilty at not enjoying the golden hour summer views and i played for a quick break at 9:30pm and didnt stop until like 2am 👀😂 I played for 3 hours the next day. I had to limit my screen time for the app to an hour a day 😂
