Features built to keep you moving

Make your money work harder.
Earn interest on your business savings. With our savings pot, you can earn interest on
deposits from as little as £10 up to £1 million.
Note: Only savings pots earn interest. You can only have one active savings pot.

Tax, confidently
Ditch the paper piles and spreadsheets. We partner with FreeAgent (included for free with
your Mettle account) to take the sting out of Making Tax Digital (MTD).

Mark off your tasks: Keep track of your admin with a simple, in-app bookkeeping
checklist.

Smart categorisation: Organise your business transactions in a few taps to cut down
on errors and keep things clean.

Easy export: Share your financial data with your accountant in just a few clicks.

To get FreeAgent included, you must make at least one transaction a month from your Mettle account.
If you don’t make one transaction a month, or if your Mettle account is closed and you continue to use
FreeAgent then the FreeAgent fees will apply. FreeAgent has optional paid-for add ons that may be
chargeable.

Know what you owe.
No more guessing. Get an up-to-date view of how much tax you’re likely to owe and when
it’s due with the Mettle Tax Calculation feature, powered by FreeAgent.
Note: You must be connected to FreeAgent for the tax calculation to be accurate.

Save without lifting a finger
Set rules to automatically move money from your main balance into dedicated pots. Plan
ahead for tax, new gear, or a rainy day. You can even set specific goals to stay motivated.

Get paid faster.
Create, customise, and send customisable invoices on the go. Once the money hits your
account, we’ll match the payment to the invoice and notify you instantly.

Control your cash.
Schedule supplier payments, set up one-off transfers, and manage all your recurring bills
directly from the app.

Secure, easy payments.
Add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay to make fast, secure purchases online, in-app,
