Yandex Browser — stylish and secure, with voice search and data compression.

Get rid of annoying ads on websites by integrating third-party blocking apps with ad blocking.

Protect your personal data when using public Wi-Fi networks and stay away from harmful or fraudulent pages with the browser’s active security system Protect.

Hide unrelated interface elements — ads, site menus, buttons, or widgets — and leave only the relevant text and accompanying images on the screen with Reader Mode.

Surf the web in private using Incognito Mode — Yandex Browser will not keep track of your passwords, search queries, or browsing history in this mode.

Customize your Yandex Browser with a wide array of backgrounds in the wallpaper library to suit any style or mood.

Access your favorite websites and bookmarks on any of your devices – just allow syncing of your data in your Yandex account.

The best browser I've used. It lets you install a proper ad blocker such as uBlock Origin, and you can even run its scripts. But note that installing it and setting it up is a highly technical business, and it usually fails to send security code numbers to your phone so that you have to try over and over, and when these do arrive there is a wodge of text in front of the number so you can't read it from the popup. But I won't take a star off for that because once you get it going it's brilliant.

Works just the same as any of your regular browser and works well on an Android device, is easy on the system usage whilst being stable, also works with Chrome extensions which is a huge plus. However, the search/input bar is on the bottom of the screen as oppose to the top, takes a little getting used to but otherwise highly recommend.

Still my fave after 5yrs! I don't know where my old review went! The app is heavy on ram but it doesn't really affect me on a Note 8, but that aside it's the best pound-for-pound browser I've ever seen on Android! I'd HATE it if it changed too much because there isn't another browser that ticks as many boxes as Yandex! A rare 5 stars is well earned!

Thanks for the high rating! Please specify, during which actions in the browser did you notice that it consumes a lot of RAM? Does the high consumption situation repeat when you perform the same actions in other browsers on your device?
