Overall it's a good app, but currently I'm getting notifications to sign up to Reduce and Earn events, but there is no option to join. Then I get an email much later, and the link works but I miss the timeframe, so for me it's pointless. Also, when offered free energy over Xmas I signed up and used additional electricity within the window, spending over £4 and got refunded £1.68, which was disappointing.

Hi Dave - that's very odd, the Reduce & Earn issue sounds like a caching issue with your version of the app. As for the Xmas promotion, we can definitely look into this for you if your calculations didn't seem correct. The app was great before the massive outage in February/March 2026. Before then I could get nearly up to date readings with a swipe down refresh. Now the app only updates when it wants to, maybe once or twice per day. I lost all my previous history up to that point too. The saving grace is the "free electricity" events. You can't knock those.

The usage shown in money doesn't match what's shown on the IHS. I have checked the tariff name matches my account, but the actual rates are miles apart! Since most people are on the Price Guarantee rate, it should be possible for the app to use that as default, instead of some arbitrary rate that's about half the actual rate charged! It would be better if users could enter our own unit and daily rates? Better now there is an option to display usage in units, kWh.

Hi Steve - you'll be pleased to hear that if you update to the latest version of the app you'll now be able to view your consumption in kWh as well as £. If you look in your Settings in the app you'll also be able to see a breakdown of the unit rates and standing charges we have for your energy plan, to compare to your in-home display. Thanks!
