Why try a fix something that isn't broken? The bulbs have been working great for 18 months. Never a problem and now the new app comes along I spend more time trying to connect the lights which are now almost permanently offline. This is not a network problem. Everything else is running fine. This coincided with the new app release. I'm fuming. So much so that I am considering binning them.

If you're looking for this App because you've recently purchased a Kasa product I hope you kept the receipt. It was recently 'upgraded' and what was once a simple but functional App is now useless and most of the time is unable to even see the devices it is supposed to control. TP-Link - 0/10 for 'Smart' and 0/10 for whoever signed off the App test sheet.

Works fine with the smart plugs & for that reason i decided to get a tp link smart bulb. Unfortunately the experience is not as good. It keeps losing sync with the app, the schedule doesn't update when u set tasks. The action sometimes happens but does not appear in the list. Also if u turn off the light at the switch u need to add the bulb to the app again, which gets annoying fast. I will probably just get a non tp link bulb next & just switch to the alexa app (not really a fan of that either)
