This app is rubbish. I don't want to read New Scientist online, and i resent that there isn't an option to subscribe to the magazine without getting the app included. It means that the "discounted" rate for an annual subscription, which is listed as 61%, is actually only 25% off the list price. I'm going to start reading New Scientist for free at the library once my current subscription runs out.

A recent update deleted my bookmarks, deleted old editions (that were supposed to me permanently available), fails to allow login on a reinstall and crashes when too many editions have been downloaded. I have cancelled my subscription at the end of the current year. May re-subscribe if app issues are fixed. Still no option to store bulk data on SD card, they been working on that for 4 or 5 years now..?

Thanks for your feedback. We'll definitely look into making these improving in future versions. Instructions on how to delete issues can be found under ‘Deleting issues’ that appears in the Settings menu.

The latest version, 4.0.1.3338, arrived a few days ago. It's a big improvement in that the menu now scrolls up reliably which many complained about in the past. The full menu now has pictures against each article which somehow make it more likely I look at them. There's also a quick menu that let's you jump to the section you want. I'm not complaining about this version.
