Ar the beginning this game was pretty good. Plenty to do, lots of new stuff to get stuck into. However as time has progressed it's turned into another money grabbing mobile app. Adding in rng loot boxes, more passes than you could possibly imagine. Last one being 3 different "battle passes" at the same time. Playerbase has tanked and is continuing to decline and they are doing very little to remedy this outside of trying to scrape up money. Avoid this game for now.

I have been playing since day 1. I love the game, but make no mistake, it is pay to win. The devs ONLY care about money, and ONLY cater to the small % of top spenders. It WILL take you a year to get up to speed if you don't spend money, and you will get crushed repeatedly. This game is not beginner friendly at all and deffinatly not wallet friendly. The devs also lie constantly about drop rates on scammy boxes and events, and also ninja patch things without being up front about it.

The game is great BUT, and its a big BUT, unless you are prepared to pay real money a lot of the game mechanics are closed to you and you are at a huge disadvantage. This means that you die, early, often and inevitably, wasting all the effort and time that you have put in until then. If you are happy to stick to low level ships, easy missions in safe sectors and have most of the trading game unavailable then give it a go or be prepared to pay money, over time a lot of money. The choice is yours. I chose to uninstall the game before i wasted more of my time!
