Microsoft Edge Canary

It's a great browser containing a few flaws. My favourite thing is that we can make a good use of extensions. Although it has a built-in advert blocker 'out of the box', which is a nice idea, now we can download other ones as well. It's got a huge amount of add-ons available. The most annoying thing I've encountered is that the browser exits dark mode after having used the immersive reader, which is a smart and lovely feature. It makes reading more enjoyable. It's a good concept all in all.

Been using edge/edge canary now for years on Google pixel/Samsung's and always had a shopping coupon come up if available in the address bar for any offer or discount codes, like on a pc. Now I don't have it. Tried edge://flags/#edge-coupons-enable but there's no option for this to enable. shopping. Funnily enough, if I uninstall canary/beta and reinstall, initially the shopping coupon is there but soon disappears again and the shopping icon on the edit menu is greyed out. Why has it gone?

Crashes all of the time. I got sick of not being able to use password manager extensions in Firefox, so I tried this for a month. Unfortunately, the extensions don't work well and I can't even see half of the controls. I kept using it mostly from momentum, and it's not bad when it works, but I finally got tired of it crashing all of the time. This experiment is over and I'm uninstalling.
