This is a fun and challenging puzzle game, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who doesn't already have a decent grasp on colour theory. I have rated it 4 stars and not 5 because the daily challenges have not been updated for several months, and I have encountered an issue where banner ads will sometimes cover up the menu. The ads are also much too frequent.

I'm so glad this game has been made. Like other reviewers I missed Blendoku when it disappeared and payed for ad free straight away. After paying for square levels and separately for hexagon levels there are no more attempts to get the user to spend even more which is a relief. I love the challenge mode where the hue keeps shifting and after a while getting used to it I find it easier than standard mode. I miss knowing my speed and comparing myself with the world average and competitive play.

Close enough, welcome back Blendoku 2. The ads are on the more offputting end of frequency and intrusivity; but with remove ad purchase, it's a much more pleasant experience. Some features I'd like to see are the timing and global average, as well as the "stretch" effect, both from Blendoku 2. The stretch allows you to directly overlay and compare one tile with several others at the same time, and it was just aethetically pleasing.
