USE THIS ALONGSIDE A TEXTBOOK OR PODCAST (Music Student 101 for me). This app has a great break up and accessibility of the different parts of theory. You can go down in a chronological order or pick whatever you want to do. the drills sections is a perfect addition! not only all of the above but its easy on the eye.. opening the app relates to FUN in my brain and doesnt feel like a chore. really worth the purchase to get the extra bits and support the developers.

Great app when used in conjunction with a wider practice routine. I've been using this for the past year and it's really strengthened my ear for harmony and ability to sight-read rhythms. Two abilities in which was shamefully lacking. Most of the courses are really good but there are a couple of points where it seems the developers have 'filled in the gaps'... and a bit sloppily tbh. But this little fault certainly isn't enough to knock a star off my rating.

I purchased premium £2.99 and it's well worth it. This app teach you and help you practise far beyond any other I've ever tried. As a music composition student is just what you need. But it will also help if you play an instrument or sing, to understand the structure of a music score and so make for better performances. I had a problem with "guided courses" crashing and it was promptly fixed by the developer.
