Plant. Grow. Harvest. Outplay.
Cropocalypse is a farming party game for one to four farmers. Everyone shares one field and one market bell. Plant crops whose roots spread across the soil, gather anyone's harvest, and carry it home to your base before the bell rings. Nobody is knocked out: the farmer who sells the most wins.
HOW IT PLAYS
• Hold plant to pick a crop and plant it; its roots creep through the soil and wall off your rivals
• Walk onto ripe harvest to pick it up, then carry it home to your base to keep it safe
• Heavy loads slow you down, so plan the way home
• Drop hedges to block paths, and stand guard at home while rivals come to raid your store
• At dusk the foxes come: light fires, set snares and fire flares to protect your farm
THE MARKET
When the bell rings, sell your harvest and spend the coins on gear: bigger bags and a wheelbarrow, fences, speed boots, mud boots, climbing gear, a lantern and more. New seeds bring pumpkins, corn, rice, potatoes, sunflowers, watermelons and berry bushes, each with its own soil and trick.
