when you open the multi camera view, you don't get any thumbnails most of the time, it's a blank thumb, so you can't see which camera is which without clicking a blank thumb. . also you can't arrange the order as it forgets the order as soon as you close the app. Worst of all, hikvision has very little support and ignores the comments in app feedback section. I've had this system for 2 years now and I'm replacing with Riolink later this year as reviews are better.

The camera app worked great at first and I was getting all notifications. But now since app been updating it's lucky my camera's actually detect motion as most of the time it don't. I even had people come out to me who fitted them come out and extend the motion and they were great but after a month or so getting less notifications and sometimes don't come straight through and when I click on the app they sometimes appear. I whole idea of having these so I can check my home is secure .

This used to be a brilliant Appš I use it on my Android phones but recently for some reason the audio no longer works. I'm experiencing the same problem as other users who have left reviews about this issue. The guy who installed it tried using his iPhone with no problems which is really frustrating. The only way I can hear audio is if I use the Hik Connect software on my laptop. This isn't fit for purpose when I'm not at home. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a CCTV system.
