when I need it to work its great! BUT! it turns itself on as it pleases, this is driving me crazy! Also, something- either the VPN or the antivirus- at times blocks my access to the net completely, have to turn the whole thing off to get online... not what I bought it for! @AVG mobile, all my settings are on point, but the app starts up on its own nevertheless. it also glitches and takes a number of tries to stop it running when it starts up on its own.

Hi Nina, thanks for the details. If VPN starts on its own, please check Auto-Connect in Settings. If your internet is blocked with VPN on, try another server or protocol and make sure no other VPN app is active. If it still happens, contact support.avg.com. *AVG

Works but not always. There have been times, usually when I'm on holiday overseas, when it fails to connect. I installed this app primarily for use overseas so this is disappointing. I got the app on a 60 day free trial. At the time I was told an annual subscription would cost £18.99. My free trial comes to an end in a few days and I have now been advised that it will cost me nearly £60 to renew ! So will probably cancel and look for a different app.

Seems to do what it is supposed to do. Of course, you don't know what it's blocking until it does so, and often not even then. This is probably a good thing. Also, when it's updated, it comes up with screens of subscription options, it has forgotten that I have paid already for full ultimate cover and I have to go find my authorisation code and enter it again.
