Tracker Detect

For those who say it doesn't work please read: The app works by detecting an item that is no longer within the range of its paired device, so if you're trying to check it for an air tag that's near you and it's close to it's owner it doesn't meet the eligibility criteria to set it off. It will only register the item when it's left the pre determined area away from the device it's registered to. Try again by walking away with the item and leaving the owners phone etc behind.

This app is pretty pointless. If you are worried about trackers placed near you secretly... It barely works. Andy only of you are prepared to wait 10 minutes. But say you wanted to actively use to find your keys. You can't rename trackers you find so each time you will need to wade through every tracker in the vicinity to find the right one. And that's assuming you are not near the tracker's owner when the system doesn't work at all. Rubbish.

Good to have this on Android platform. Appreciate being able to manually scan and it does not have to run in the background. It would be a better implementation to allow optional background running. For example, to automatically scan while you are traveling or stationary and not watching the screen. This could ease some of concerns, but still satisfy both methods of scanning. This would also allow more frequent scans over a longer period to find 15 minutes away from the offenders.
