lack of rate up gripes a bit, but the game is so generous that you'll almost never be hurting anyway. visuals are fun to watch, and the gameplay is alright at later difficulties. characters are the highlight of the game - There's something for everybody. minigames are fun, but the extra modes need work. there's so much to do, it's almost unreal really.

I like it. I've been playing for 2 years now. You can play as a F2P player with no issues. The gacha (yes, it is a gacha game) seems to be very fair and is easily workable if you save your "cubes" and "gold". The gameplay is a 2D side-scrolling, bullet-hell shooter using the different types of ship classes. The art is of a very good standard and there are several large communities out there that keep the game alive. Give it a try, it's a good game.

I did not expect to like Azur Lane, but it is probably one of the best mobile games I've ever played. You can get the majority of the good ships and gear for free, and the game is very generous with the rewards it gives you. The skins are a little bit pricey but keep in mind the game has loads of content, and it is ad-free. Also, with an optional update, all of the battle waifus have voice acting, so what more can a man of culture ask for?
