About this app

Enhance your finding experience with free features, like Call Your Phone, Change Ringtone, and more.

HOW IT WORKS

The Chipolo app offers free finding features that help you find your phone and let you customize your finding experience. It also has a few fun features! You can give each Chipolo its own ringtone or take the perfect group photo with Chipolo as a remote camera shutter.

WHAT IS (A) CHIPOLO?

Chipolo Bluetooth tracking tags are designed to help you live your life to the fullest by giving you peace of mind. With Chipolo, you don’t have to worry about misplaced or lost keys, wallets, backpacks, or anything at all ever again. Wherever you are, Chipolo’s got your back.

WHY DOWNLOAD THE CHIPOLO APP?

For the free extra features, of course! Do you misplace your phone a lot? Then the Call Your Phone feature is the perfect fit for you. Want to customize your Chipolo’s ringtone? Consider it done! Love taking group pictures? You’ll love the Take a Selfie feature.

1 CALL YOUR PHONE

Always looking for your phone? Here’s a quick fix – double-press your Chipolo to make your phone ring and find it in a matter of seconds.

2 CUSTOMIZE CHIPOLO’S RINGTONE

If your Chipolo’s chirp is driving you cuckoo, you can change its ringtone with just a few taps and give each Chipolo a unique personality. And even better news – the ringtone library will keep getting bigger!

3 USE CHIPOLO AS A REMOTE CAMERA SHUTTER

So you want to take a group selfie, but you weren’t blessed with long limbs? Chipolo can help! With the Take a Selfie feature, you can double-press your Chipolo to take a photo and capture precious moments perfectly. Awkward angles? Not in Chipolo's equation.

4 OUT OF RANGE ALERTS

Our patented Out Of Range Alerts are like a tiny memory fairy, whispering “Hey, did you leave your keys behind?” before things go sideways.

WHY WE NEED LOCATION DATA

Chipolo uses location data to display the last known location of your Chipolo tracking tag in the Chipolo app, to trigger Out of Range Alerts on your phone and to display your phone's location in the Chipolo web app, even when the app is running in the background. Additionally, Chipolo may use your location when scanning for nearby Chipolo tracking tags as part of the community search feature that helps our users find each other’s Chipolos.

Get your Chipolo at chipolo.net and master the art of finding your things in an instant!

Chipolo – Search less. Smile more.

ok app & device. not good enough, though. Pop doesn't remain connected - it will often say the last connection time was up to 15 minutes ago but it hasn't given the 'out of range alert' so it's still in range but just not showing you that. sometimes this occurs when the Pop is literally beside you. it doesn't give a direction when searching, just a connection strength, which can leave you wandering around to see which direction increases the strength.

it is a good app, and would of been 5 stars but it's annoying when I get a message asking if I've left my tracker behind, why isn't there just a yes or no button I can click would make life much simpler. also annoying when I get the have I left tracker behind message when tracker is connected to my house keys in one pocket while phone is in another pocket but tracker and phone are both on my person less than half a metre away from eachother, but I still get left behind alerts.

It's terrible on Android. There seems to be no way to set up safe areas, so if I leave my tracker in one room in my home and walk to another area, I get an alert asking me if I've left the tracker behind. Apparently, you can set up safe areas on the iPhone app (such as your home), but this seems ridiculously not included this feature on the Android app!

Our Out of Range Alerts take into consideration different factors, not just your location (which is inaccurate indoors and it doesn't update quickly enough when you get outside). This is the reason why the concept of safe areas isn't there. However, simply being on the Wi-Fi should solve your problems, as that would make the location safe in a way.
