it's slow, it's clunky, it's hard to see the pictures or work out what the little time of day clock thing is actually trying to depict. You have to have some knowledge of the language too, to even stand a chance of getting anything right, otherwise it's really demoralising. The voice recognition is hit and miss too, and given that there is zero grammar tuition it seems weird that more emphasis isn't given to the speech side, since that's typically the part that people struggle with the most?

As I have a lifetime subscription (for now), I dip in and out of it. I find it has a role. The style is boring and lessons are repetitive. It's slow and won't teach useful language if you just need some quick basics. HOWEVER, if you like understanding the language foundations, it's pretty good for that with good audio tracks. It also helps me with pronunciation. You need to combine it with other resources. I just use the core lessons, which is tolerable. I combine it with other resources.

app is good for advanced, dont recommend it for people learning from scratch. Also having quite a trouble with pronunciation tasks, as doesn't matter how many times I say the word even simple as "sa", app doesn't catch it at all and after time being deems as incorrect. I don't know what you want me to do, scream to my phone so it actually would hear? 🤷

For best results with pronunciation, we recommend using a wired headset or wired earbuds. We also recommend closing all other open apps on the device, as they may be attempting to access the device microphone or speakers.
