So this was the 1st game I played from this series. I found it easy to navigate and responsive. Nice puzzles with nothing too hard. The order to do things left me having to restart game 3 times. Would be helpful for option to replay section instead of starting from scratch. Strictly No in-game purchases or adverts which is refreshing. The only frustrating thing for me was how long it took to accept afew simple drawn lines with shaky hands. Took me about 40 attempts!! Will play others in series.

If you like creepy, unsettling and a little bit macabre, then Rusty Lake is the place for you. Beautifully animated. Sinister vibes. Clever puzzles. Thoughtful and precise gameplay. Slightly frustrating if you miss one of the "special ingredients" as they are only available at certain points of the game and some are well hidden... and you must do things in a certain order to get maximum points, but I have played through several times and still enjoy it.

Took about 2 hours to 100% the first time around, takes about 15 minutes now I know what to do. Figuring out the room order is a nifty touch, but it would've been better if the game made the order less obvious. The art style and gameplay is what you would expect from these devs - couldn't ask for more really. Worth every penny and even if it wasn't, then their free games make this worth paying for.
