Great film catalogue. But very, very poor UX. For no reason at all, Mubi have made it as difficult as possible to find films - there's no A-Z of films available to watch and I'm sure there used to be. There's also no feature to filter by category, so I can't browse all the, say, horror films without browsing the entire app. This makes it a chore to look for a film to watch and I find myself getting tired and turning on Netflix instead. I'm less likely to resubscribe.

Great selection of films available and cast to my TV was high quality and worked seamlessly. The browser website has more functionality though: being able to search by genre, more easily follow/browse lists, favorite directors/actors and so on. I found trying to find a film I wanted to see on the app more difficult (lots of scrolling...) so it'd be good if they could just incorporate all of the features from the website into the app.

A letdown. You pay more than the average streaming app only to get frustrated. When using a streaming app for the 1st time, I always create a little collection of things to watch. I was over the moon with Mubi's offer! Only to realise that the vast majority of the films I was so eager to watch weren't available. They're there, but you can't watch them. I've watched a couple of their own films. I found that both had poorly evolved plots. And that's the end of Mubi for me.
